CAMP FACILITIES: Conshatawba is a Resident Camp that specializes in The Arts and Adventure. We have a ceramics and pottery program, arts and craft building, theater stage,pool, climbing rock wall and zip line, low ropes course, archery field and numerous sports fields. Conshatawba has beautiful lodges, platform tents, and cabins for lodging.Girls attend themed weeks of camp throughout the summer with this year's most popular sessions being a Percy Jackson session and a Hunger Games themed session. Conshatawba offers resident camping for girls ages 8-17 as well as family sessions.

CAMP PROGRAM INFO: Camp Conshatawba has adventure programming specializing in backpacking trips. Conshatawba offers a 4 sided climbing tower and zipline. Conshatawba also focuses on the arts with an indoor theater and arts studio.

Our camps are staffed with activity specialists, a cook, a health supervisor and specialty staff for adventure programs. Staff members are carefully selected for their skills as well as how they work with children and adults. They participate in weeklong training sessions where they earn appropriate certifications. Camp Conshatawba offers programming for Girl Scouts to build girls of confidence, courage and character.

CAMP LEADERSHIP CIT/LIT PROGRAMS: We offer a two week CIT session for girls to learn leadership skills.

CAMP FACILITIES: George School is oaks and hemlocks, dogwoods and redbuds. It’s cleome blossoms in the bushes and clover in the grass. It’s running paths through the woods and Frisbee on the lawns. It’s red brick buildings, old wooden desks, wireless internet.

George School is the solar-powered Alternative Energy Center. It’s a Philadelphia meetinghouse from 1812 conserved and moved to our campus. It’s future-minded sustainability and a Zen-ish bear hug of the present. It’s hundreds of research databases and ebooks at the library, 600 seats at the arts center, and one-on-one meetings with a teacher.

CAMP FACILITIES: Penn State Abington is a distinguished baccalaureate campus college within a world-class, land-grant research university. All camps are held within our campus classrooms, computer labs, science labs, and athletic building. Students enjoy lunch each day in our campus cafeteria.

CAMP PROGRAM INFO: Penn State Abington's Kids and Teen College offers fun, enriching, and educational week-long programs for students entering grades 3 through 12. The campus offers a wide range of youth programs that focus on many academic subject areas. Topics range from science, robotics, engineering and computer camps to literature, theater, and art. Many of the summer camps provide students opportunities to learn about various professions and careers. We have camps that help students explore the world of engineering, science, robotics, chemistry, law, writing and sustainability. CAMP PROGRAM INFO: Summer Theatre Camp is the hallmark of Yes! And… Collaborative Arts Imagination Programming. We have been running these camps for over 15 years!

Yes! And… Collaborative Arts offers exciting, creative and transformative summer experiences for young people grades K-12. No previous theatre experience? No problem! Does your child not like to be in front of a group? No problem! Our programs dig into each child's imagination and awaken a sense of play and wonder. We explore dance, acting, music, visual arts and more in order to teach collaboration, working as a group, and building on each other's strengths.

Every camp culminates in an original performance. We can't tell you what they are, because your child is part of the writing and creating process! We can tell you that these showcases are exciting, celebratory, and always an adventure. Our Imagination Camps usually showcase on Friday at 3:30pm, after their day is done. Our Theatre Camps will usually showcase at the end of each week, also at 3:30pm. After either their 2 or 3 week thematic unit is done, they will put on a larger show on the Friday at 6pm. (Kids stay after camp for rehearsal and pizza!)

Yes! And... Collaborative Arts hand picks an incredible team of artists and educators each summer. Artist teachers prepare classes in acting, movement, visual arts and storytelling while Travelers are on hand to guide each tribe of kids throughout the day. High school students from our SHADOW Co. are also a part of the tribes as Junior Travelers. Staff hired by Yes! And... Collaborative Arts have trained in our Collaborative Arts Institute and have proper and up-to-date copies of child abuse and criminal record background checks. We retain many of our staff from previous years, so your child will get to know their favorites!

What happens when you put Goldilocks, Peter Pan, Rapunzel, and the Wicked Witch into a blender and turn it on? Probably a huge mess! Join us as we make and untangle these meeses by looking at old stories and creating something new. No story is safe in this fun camp session!

June 11-15: The Classics
To be or not to be… but we want you “to be” here to join us as we jump into Shakespeare! This one week intensive will focus on classical Shakespeare and the techniques and skills used to execute the classics. This week will end with a rousing olde-tyme showcase!

July 30 - August 3: Dance Exploration
Get ready to move! Work with our talented dance instructors to learn new skills and new dance forms while having TONS of fun. This one week intensive focuses on how we move our bodies and will end with a short showing of our new moves!

August 6-17: Elemental Force
Earth, Water, Wind, & Fire - The four elements may seem like complete opposites, but do they actually work together? Are they instead mortal enemies? We will jump into myth creation quick during this 2-week workshop.

CAMP FACILITIES: Camp Sequoia is very fortunate to call The Perkiomen School campus our summer home. Pennsburg is a suburban area approximately a one hour drive northwest of Philadelphia in Montgomery County. The proximity of many educational and recreational activities to Pennsburg make our weekly out of camp trips very convenient.

CAMP PROGRAM INFO: The Perkiomen School offers a wide array of playing fields and outdoor athletic facilities such as tennis and basketball courts. An indoor, competition size swimming pool, multiple gyms and top notch art facilities are just a few of the indoor highlights. When it's time for bed, campers will enjoy the comfort of their bedrooms which feature closets, dressers and desks. Bad weather is no problem at Camp Sequoia thanks to our amazing facilities. This is a great asset to our campers who have trouble with change in schedules.

CAMP LEADERSHIP CIT/LIT PROGRAMS: The LIT program meets the need for young people ages 16-17 who are not yet ready for a summer job and need help developing their social thinking skills, independent skills and job readiness skills. Camp Sequoia's Leader-In-Training program provides a safe and supportive environment for our LIT's to learn and practice these important skills.

CAMP FACILITIES: Summit has approx. 30 traditional wooden cabins with electric and private facilities in each cabin. Our main buildings include our newly refinished dining hall, air-conditioned recreational hall, our medical facility, and a newly built outdoor pavilion. Summit utilizes three A frame buildings for our arts programs, a wilderness treehouse with camp fire area for cookouts, newly resurfaced basketball/tennis courts, high/low ropes course with climbing wall, heated pool, private lake, nature fields with a farm area, martial arts dojo, go-kart track with 3 karts. CAMP PROGRAM INFO: Summit Camp is a co-ed sleepaway camp for ages 8-19 years with issues of attention: AD/HD, HFA/Asperger’s Disorder, and/or learning differences. Using the frame of a traditional sleepaway camp, we create platforms of success where our campers can experience outcomes such as improved self-esteem, lasting friendships, and increased independence. This is accomplished through a well-orchestrated and expertly staffed backdrop to a largely traditional camp experience- guided challenges, waterfront, adventure course, and more. It is our goal and desire to take our campers from observing peer interactions to engaging in them, to learn and celebrate their own strengths and successes, and to feel a sense of belonging and shared community with those around them while they are with us.

Our Teen Travel program extends the Summit community to provide a safe yet exciting adventure to one of our many attractive national and international destination tours offering 14 day and 19 day excursions. Summit Weekenders provide a youth-group style social retreat for adolescents to have an oasis of independence, enjoyment, and success during the school year months. Classes will begin on Monday, July 9 and run weekdays through July 20. Morning sessions are available from 9 AM – 12:30 PM and Afternoon sessions from 1:30 PM – 5 PM. The last day of regular class (Friday) is a full day, morning and afternoon, for all students. The course will culminate in a student-showcasing recital on Saturday, July 21st.

OTHER CAMP INFO: Camp UMLY, located in Berwyn at the Upper Main Line YMCA provides campers who are preschool age through 8th grade with a summer they'll never forget. Campers have an opportunity to make friends and participate in a variety of camp activities including: arts & crafts, sports, free swim, field games, environmental and nature programming, community service and weekly themed activities.

Camp UMLY runs for 13 weeks from May 31 through August 26 and registration for camp is done by the week to allow families flexibility to select camp weeks that work for them. CAMP LEADERSHIP CIT/LIT PROGRAMS: Tyler Hill has a full CIT program for campers entering the 11th grade. We provide unique and exciting leadership training, community service programs and travel and outdoor opportunities, in addition to our already full camp program.

YEAR-ROUND PROGRAMS: Tyler Hill hosts various winter and spring get-togethers in New York, New Jersey and Florida for our campers to reunite and for new campers to connect with one another.

CAMP FACILITIES: Students will stay in Thayer Hall (Our Camp Website Link: www.pointpark.edu), one of Point Park's many residential dormitories and will attend classes in the new, state-of-the-art Pittsburgh Playhouse! CAMP PROGRAM INFO: Students attend classes and workshops five days each week with an emphasis on all aspects of Musical Theatre, including acting and stage management/design/technical theatre. Students receive daily technique classes in acting, voice (both group and private), and dance/musical theatre movement from the highest-quality teachers and industry professionals. The program culminates in a working showcase open to family/friends in the PNC Theatre at The Pittsburgh Playhouse.

Eileen Grace: Program Director
Eileen is an award-winning Director and Choreographer and a former Broadway performer and Rockette. She directed and staged the Radio City Christmas Spectacular touring productions for 9 years. She has served as Artistic Director of the Rockette's Summer Intensive Program and as Associate Producer for the theater company, Reagle Music Theater in Boston and as director for the annual Bradley Awards at the Kennedy Center in Washington, D.C. Eileen was in the Broadway casts of 42nd Street, Will Rogers Follies, and in the international tour of My One and Only (with Tommy Tune). Her television credits include the Grammy Awards, Tony Awards, One Life to Live, Macy's Parade, Kennedy Center Honors, Late Show with David Letterman, and Oprah.

CAMP SCHOLARSHIPS OR FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE: Artistic merit scholarships are available. Each student will be considered and evaluated when their application is submitted. Scholarship amounts will range from $100 to $600. Scholarships are good towards tuition costs only. Room and board are not applicable.

OTHER CAMP INFO: Acting Conservatory-style training that offers a strong foundation in the art and craft of acting. These classes emphasize the creative process and include instruction in script analysis, improvisation, scene & monologue work, stage combat, and Shakespeare verse techniques.

Musical Theatre
Our intensive focuses primarily on acting, dance, voice lessons, interpreting music and lyrics, and audition techniques. These classes are for the serious student of Musical Theatre and emphasize technical skill development and professional preparation.

Stage Management and Design / Technical Theatre
Housed in the award-winning Pittsburgh Playhouse, these classes offer students the unique opportunity to work and study in our world-class facilities, including production & design labs; scenic & prop shops; and light & sound studios. Our students work closely with our professional Playhouse staff members in the area of Technical Theatre; Scenic, Light, Sound and Costume Design; and Stage Management.

CAMP FACILITIES: Our camper living facilities are beautiful modern cabins, all of which have wood flooring, windows, air-conditioning and ceiling fans. Modern updated bathrooms with showers and toilet stalls, are within the cabins. The bunks are spacious with plenty of storage for camper and counselor's clothing.

Our facilities, most of which are lit for night play, include basketball courts, baseball/softball fields, hockey rinks, covered turf football/lacrosse/soccer field, grass lacrosse/football fields, grass soccer fields, indoor gymnastics center, tennis courts, volleyball courts, a heated swimming pool, extensive water park and lake toys, cardio and weight rooms, Outdoor Adventure facilities (rock walls, ropes courses, ziplines, and more), woodworking shop, arts & crafts, culinary center, spin studio, archery range, movie theater, canteen, health center and dining hall.

Nestled in the heart of the beautiful Pocono Mountains in Wayne County, PA, Camp Westmont is situated on 400 acres of gently rolling hills with a private 100-acre lake. Westmont provides a fun-filled summer of varied activities for campers ages 6 through 16. Westmont is a co-ed camp with two very distinct campuses – boys on Boys Side and girls on Girls Side. The Y is a non-profit charitable organization that strengthens the foundations of our community. OTHER CAMP INFO: Camp Chippewa, located in West Grove at the Jennersville YMCA provides campers from preschool age through 6th grade with a summer they'll never forget. Campers have an opportunity to make friends and participate in a variety of camp activities including: arts & crafts, sports, free swim, field games, community service and weekly themed activities.

Camp Chippewa runs for 14 weeks from May 30 through September 2 and registration for camp is done by the week to allow families flexibility to select camp weeks that work for them. Camp Chippewa also offers a variety of specialty camps including: aquatics, dance, theatre and junior lifeguarding. Camp runs from 9 AM - 4 PM each day, aftercare is included in the price of camp. CAMP FACILITIES: The program is facilitated indoors and outdoors of Rose Playground. Teenagers In Charge is youth driven and any/all program activities are planned, coordinated and facilitated by those who are actively involved in the organization.

CAMP PROGRAM INFO: Teenagers In Charge is a nonprofit organization that was founded in 1995 for and about teens and tweens (10-17 years old) whose mission is to help them build their self-esteem, heighten their cultural and community awareness while teaching them how to take charge of their lives. The sessions are theme based and activities are centered around the themes each month.

YEAR-ROUND PROGRAMS: Teenagers In Charge is facilitated every Saturday morning excluding holidays and inclement weather. The program is for and about teens and tweens (10-17) with a youth agenda. Activities include community outreach, team building, theater arts, limited sports, trips and ongoing group activities. TIC is an academic enrichment program.
