CAMP FACILITIES: Our facilities include two theatre spaces as well as three classrooms in the building. We are a full time theatre company, so our spaces are equipped with all the essential theatrical equipment.

CAMP PROGRAM INFO: Our camp programs focus on Acting, Playwriting, Improvisation, Dance, Design, and Collaborative Creation. Our teachers are all local professional actors, designers, and dancers who have extensive experience working with children in a theatre education setting.

CAMP FACILITIES: 24 Boys Cabins and 24 Girls Cabins. All cabins are modern wooden cottages with bathrooms and showers. Heated pool and water slide, full circus program and horseback riding on camp.

CAMP FACILITIES: Conshatawba is a Resident Camp that specializes in The Arts and Adventure. We have a ceramics and pottery program, arts and craft building, theater stage,pool, climbing rock wall and zip line, low ropes course, archery field and numerous sports fields. Conshatawba has beautiful lodges, platform tents, and cabins for lodging.Girls attend themed weeks of camp throughout the summer with this year's most popular sessions being a Percy Jackson session and a Hunger Games themed session. Conshatawba offers resident camping for girls ages 8-17 as well as family sessions.

CAMP PROGRAM INFO: Camp Conshatawba has adventure programming specializing in backpacking trips. Conshatawba offers a 4 sided climbing tower and zipline. Conshatawba also focuses on the arts with an indoor theater and arts studio.

Our camps are staffed with activity specialists, a cook, a health supervisor and specialty staff for adventure programs. Staff members are carefully selected for their skills as well as how they work with children and adults. They participate in weeklong training sessions where they earn appropriate certifications. Camp Conshatawba offers programming for Girl Scouts to build girls of confidence, courage and character.

CAMP LEADERSHIP CIT/LIT PROGRAMS: We offer a two week CIT session for girls to learn leadership skills.

FAMILY CAMP SESSION(S): We offer family white water rafting programs and traditional family camp programs. There are also Mom and daughter weekend programs.

YEAR-ROUND PROGRAMS: Camp Conshatawba offers year round programming. Groups may rent the lodges during the year. The challenge course/zipline is available for reservation during the months of May-October. Winter programming with cross county skiing is also available.

CAMP FACILITIES: Many of the facilities in our historic 110 year old camp have recently (10 years) been updated. They include a dining hall and kitchen, craft house, boat house, medical facility, and eight of the fourteen camper cabins. The oldest building in camp is our historic Lodge, used for shows and group gatherings. The 200 acre natural lake provides a beautiful and functional setting for all our aquatic activities. Camp also includes a climbing wall, tennis courts, a volleyball court, field, archery range, campcraft area, nature/ecology area, and a 500 acre preserved area used for hiking and mountain biking.

CAMP PROGRAM INFO: Our aquatic program is extensive, taking advantage of our location on a beautiful, 200 acre, natural, mountain lake. Water skiing, swimming, canoeing, sailing, kayaking, water trampoline, and more occur on the lake. 80-90% of our staff, on average, are trained in Red Cross Lifeguarding, CPR and First Aid. Our boat drivers are required to have a Pennsylvania boating safety license and are screened in our boats.

Older campers may take whitewater canoe trips on the Delaware River and/or a four-day lake canoeing trip to the Adirondacks. Other trips include hiking on the Appalachian Trail, Loyalsock Trail (World's End State Park), Rickett's Glen State Park, Hickory Run State Park, and local trips to the blueberry farm, mill pond, and a local camping spot.

CAMP SCHOLARSHIPS OR FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE: At the YMCA, we do not turn anyone away due to an inability to pay. The Y is a non-profit charitable organization that strengthens the foundations of our community. Thanks to donations to the Y's Annual Campaign, we can offer financial assistance to those unable to pay the standard fees.*

Anyone is invited to apply for an income-based YMCA membership or financial assistance. Those receiving income-based memberships are also eligible to receive discounted rates for programming, including camp!

OTHER CAMP INFO: Camp UMLY, located in Berwyn at the Upper Main Line YMCA provides campers who are preschool age through 8th grade with a summer they'll never forget. Campers have an opportunity to make friends and participate in a variety of camp activities including: arts & crafts, sports, free swim, field games, environmental and nature programming, community service and weekly themed activities.

Camp UMLY runs for 13 weeks from May 31 through August 26 and registration for camp is done by the week to allow families flexibility to select camp weeks that work for them. Camp UMLY also runs specialty camps including: sports, tennis, STEM, nature, woodshop, animal care, art, dance, theater and more. Camp runs from 9 AM - 4 PM each day, aftercare is included in the price of camp. Before care is available for a nominal fee. Half day camp options are available for specific programs. CAMP FACILITIES: Our cabins are nestled in the woods, on a lake, and each one has a bathroom with two sinks, two toilets, and two showers. Our dining hall is large enough to seat the entire camp, so we are able to eat all of our meals as one big family. We have a heated outdoor pool, two baseball fields, two large multi-purpose fields (soccer, football, lacrosse), 6 tennis courts, an outdoor and an indoor basketball court, a fencing room, a fitness center, an indoor floor hockey/soccer rink, a multi-room arts & crafts center, more than 10 high ropes and climbing elements, a beautiful covered theater that overlooks the lake, plenty of forest for hiking, biking, and camping, and much more.

CAMP PROGRAM INFO: Our camp environment is designed to promote success, self-confidence and self-esteem for every single camper. We limit our enrollment to ensure that every camper is known - by name, by interests and by who they are as individuals. All of our programs combine skill development, challenges and fun, stressing participation and sportsmanship over winning while encouraging campers to get into the spirit of healthy competition.

We pride ourselves on hiring fantastic, talented staff. Our friendly counselors get the kind of training that helps them give their very best to your child. Many of our counselors are former campers who can't wait to share the Lake Owego experience from a first-hand perspective. We also personally recruit counselors from colleges and universities throughout the United States as well as some from Scotland, England and other countries.

Lake Owego Camp is owned by the Black family, who has been operating youth summer camps longer than almost anyone else. In 1931, Hughie and Selma Black founded Pine Forest Camp, which grew over the years to become a nationally recognized co-ed camp. Building on that success, Lake Owego for boys was opened in 1961, and our sister camp for girls, Camp Timber Tops, was opened in 1963.

Today, the third-generation and 4th generation leadership of Mickey and Barbara Black, and their children, Lee and Anna, carry on the family legacy, earning awards such as "Family Business of the Year" and serving as active leaders in the American Camping Association of America.

Directors John and Rachel Waszczak, Kyle Silver, Jeff Freedman and Shelly Silver have over 90 years of combined camp experience, and they work together a fantastic camp experience for each and every Lake Owego camper.

CAMP LEADERSHIP CIT/LIT PROGRAMS: Campers going into 11th grade take part in our Counselor Assistant program, which includes opportunities to assist in teaching activities, assist in younger bunks, go on college tours to NY, MD, PA, MA, and a 2 week trip to Costa Rica. The Costa Rica trip is included in the camp tuition, and the campers will get to explorer and see the sites, go on a canopy zip-line tour, and hike around a volcano, as well as train for and put on a 1 week camp for underserved local children. It is a once in a lifetime opportunity!

FAMILY CAMP SESSION(S): If you're interested in camp for next year, try one of our Explorer Weekends! We offer overnight opportunities during the summer so that interested campers can spend the night in the bunk and experience camp before going away.

We also offer 4-10 day specialty camps during the summer; TOP Basketball, TOP Adventure, TOP Cooks, and TOP Riding (English style Horseback Riding).

Before and after our traditional summer camp dates, camp is available for retreats, rental groups, weddings, and other events.

CAMP LEADERSHIP CIT/LIT PROGRAMS: Camp Lindenmere’s Leadership Training Program is carefully designed to teach participants both life and camp related skills. The LT’s will participate in all of the traditional Lindenmere camp activities, and will often experience many of these activities in a leadership role.

The program is fun, dynamic and creative while offering the LT’s more freedom and responsibility than other campers. The LT’s have the opportunity to participate in regular camp activities as well as experiential learning activities designed to teach life skills.

As the oldest campers, the LT’s are considered the foundation of the Lindenmere experience. Each participant is considered a valuable part of our community and is eligible to become our future staff and leaders.

OTHER CAMP INFO: How many people in each bunk?
Each bunk houses 8-12 campers with two to three counselors. The cabins are equipped with modern conveniences such as full bath facilities, including hot and cold running water, ample electrical outlets and storage space for clothing.

When do the campers pick their activities?
Majors are chosen before campers arrive at camp. The three minors are chosen at breakfast each morning and may vary from day to day.

Do campers ever get turned away from an activity they choose?
Never. A full time program director spends the day working with each child's schedule.

How many people in each activity?
Sometimes a child chooses a private lesson which is one-on-one with an instructor. Most activities have between eight to twelve children.

How does the laundry work?
Every camper's laundry is done with an outside service and is collected on Friday and returned to the campers on Sunday. The laundry for each cabin is kept together and the children sort their laundry with the aid of their counselors upon its return.

Do you have a doctor in camp?
We have a doctor and three registered nurses during each session. Our infirmary is staffed twenty four hours per day.

Are campers put into bunks by age or grade?
Campers are usually grouped in cabins by grade. Sometimes parents will request a placement by age. If your child wants to bunk with friends, we almost always are able to work it out.
Any out of camp trips?

Children leave camp to compete in intercamp games or special events such as a day trip to Camelbeach, Dorney Park, whitewater rafting, ice skating, bowling, minor league baseball games.

Do campers need extra money?
Canteen is provided free of charge each day. A small amount of spending money is recommended for other incidentals.

Where do campers come from?
All over. We have large groups of children from the New York metropolitan area, Philadelphia, Baltimore, Washington, Florida, and California, but don't be surprised if you have a bunk mate from London, Paris, Madrid or Singapore.

Chestnut Lake is an all around camp with a strong sports program. For the past 62 summers, campers have enjoyed the spirit and excitement of the Trail’s End Camp experience. Chestnut Lake has been designed to emulate the traditions and excellence of Trail’s End while providing your family with the flexibility of 3-week or 6-week alternatives. In 2008, Chestnut Lake opened its gates as the Northeast’s premier session camp located in the northeast corner of Pennsylvania, just 2 ½ hours from NYC and Philadelphia.

Chestnut Lake offers boys and girls a brand new, state-of-the-art facility along with creative day and evening programming. Chestnut Lake is an all around camp with a strong sports program. Whether your child is an athlete or an artist, Chestnut Lake has the activities and staff that will Bring Out the Best in every camper!

CAMP LEADERSHIP CIT/LIT PROGRAMS: During the summer before 11th grade, campers have the opportunity to participate in our Leadership Training year. During this summer we incorporate additional leadership and community service elements into the program including Stepping for Success, a large fundraiser for the Make-A-Wish Foundation ran completely by campers.

We also incorporate travel into the program. Leadership Trainees will take two College Trips and a 10-day trip to Utah which includes 4 days rafting on the Colorado River and hiking Bryce & Zion National Parks.

CAMP FACILITIES: Our 336 wooded acres provide hiking opportunities, outdoor chapels, playing fields, volleyball and basketball courts, ropes course and a swimming pool.

CAMP PROGRAM INFO: Every week at Nawakwa (weather permitting) begins and ends with worship at one of our beautiful outdoor worship areas; Upper Temple, Fischer Chapel or Bishop Chapel. Community living takes place everyday through Bible Study, worship, recreation, crafts, and nature study.

Our caring staff is here to guide children as they explore God's creation and their relationship in it. Campers are given the opportunity to choose how part of their week will go. Being part of a Lutheran Christian community has helped many campers grow - in their personal faith, in their self-confidence, and in their interactions with others.

They live on platform tents in the foods, cook their own meals, create their own programming and spend 3 weeks in Israel. Campers going into 12 grade participate in our Staff-In-Training (SIT) program. The spend the summer learning the values of being a counselor, transitioning from camper to staff and then living in the bunks for the last 3 weeks of camp.

CAMP FACILITIES: West Chester Studio for the Performing Arts [AT] Uptown is located in the new Knauer Performing Arts Center. We have two acting studios, fully equipped with a stage, props and furniture for acting scenes as well as a piano for our musical theater classes and cabaret performances. All our performances take place either in the Black Box Theater or on the Main Stage.

CAMP PROGRAM INFO: West Chester Studio for the Performing Arts [AT] Uptown strives to help every performer find their voice and learn to put it out into the world. Every week 16-40 performers have the opportunity to work alongside theater professionals. Every camp creates a show which is performed on the last day of camp for family and friends. CAMP PROGRAM INFO: Students attend classes and workshops five days each week with an emphasis on all aspects of Musical Theatre, including acting and stage management/design/technical theatre. Eileen Grace: Program Director
Eileen is an award-winning Director and Choreographer and a former Broadway performer and Rockette. She directed and staged the Radio City Christmas Spectacular touring productions for 9 years. She has served as Artistic Director of the Rockette's Summer Intensive Program and as Associate Producer for the theater company, Reagle Music Theater in Boston and as director for the annual Bradley Awards at the Kennedy Center in Washington, D.C. Eileen was in the Broadway casts of 42nd Street, Will Rogers Follies, and in the international tour of My One and Only (with Tommy Tune). Her television credits include the Grammy Awards, Tony Awards, One Life to Live, Macy's Parade, Kennedy Center Honors, Late Show with David Letterman, and Oprah.

CAMP FACILITIES: We have three spacious studios complete with ballet barres, marley dance floors, sound systems, and air conditioning. We also have a large waiting area.

CAMP PROGRAM INFO: Keep your kids physically active and creatively engaged with Summer Half or Full Day Performing Arts Programs and Intermediate/Advanced Intensives. Week-long programs for ages 4-18 encourage dancers to polish ballet technique while exploring new genres like Theater Dance, Contemporary Dance, Pilates, and Choreography. There is an informal studio showing at the end of each week. Creative Movement classes for ages 2.5-4 are also available.

Creative Movement (2.5-4 years old): This program is designed to cultivate the joy for ballet in our youngest dancers while introducing them to the format of a dance class. The use of music, props, and imagination keeps students engaged while they learn basic ballet vocabulary.

Half Day Performing Arts (4-6 years old): This half day program explores ballet, theater dance, and voice with a structured but developmentally-appropriate approach.

Full Day Performing Arts (6-10 years old): This full day program's curriculum includes a Pilates-based stretch and strengthening class, ballet, theater dance, voice, contemporary, and a student-inspired choreography class. This program is a great way for beginner and intermediate dancers to learn and polish basic technique as well as explore new genres.

Intermediate Intensive (8-13 years old): This program is designed for serious intermediate young dancers. Students train nearly 30 hours per week. They will have Pilates and a two-hour ballet technique class each morning. In addition, they will be introduced to various other genres including contemporary and theater. Students will study ballet terminology and learn and rehearse choreography that will culminate in an in-studio performance at the end of the program. This program is an excellent opportunity for intermediate students to refine their technique and develop strength.

Intermediate/Advanced Intensive (13+ years old): This intensive is designed so intermediate and advanced dancers can really examine and perfect their ballet technique while they also explore their versatility as artists. The curriculum includes a daily Pilates mat class, two-hour ballet technique class, pointe, and specialty subject workshops (such as variations, partnering, contemporary, salsa, choreography, theater dance, and repertoire). Seminar topics have included: nutrition, anatomy, ballet terminology, stage make-up, and dance history. The program will culminate with an in-studio showing of a student-choreographed original piece on the last Friday.

YEAR-ROUND PROGRAMS: In addition to our Summer Performing Arts Programs, The Philadelphia Dance Academy offers dance classes to kids of all ages during the school year. We pride ourselves on providing exceptional dance training in a professional and positive environment. We view each student as an individual and aim to ensure he or she reaches maximum potential. CAMP FACILITIES: We have a modern dorm and two modern longhouse facilities, as well as two more rustic dorms. We have a large Dining Hall facility, and a brand new Children's Ministry Building (fit for indoor sports and recreation, as well as meeting places). Additionally, the camp has 200 privately owned cottages, three large RV lots, a large soccer field and baseball field, disc golf and mini golf courses, basketball courts, volleyball courts, and a gaga ball pit. There are two tabernacles, the Main Tabernacle and Youth Tabernacle, for services. The Susquehanna River serves as a great place for swimming, kayaking, canoeing, and tubing.

CAMP PROGRAM INFO: Mahaffey Camp offers a variety of programs, from summer youth camps and family camp to year-long retreats and events. Our staff is a dedicated group of people who are passionate about serving campers of all ages and leading them to a vibrant experience with God. Our mission is "to reach others with the Gospel and teach them about the Lord." Mahaffey Camp aims to be "A Christian Center for Spiritual Growth." Mahaffey Camp is a member of the Christian Camp and Conference Association.

CAMP LEADERSHIP CIT/LIT PROGRAMS: Those who wish to be considered as Counselors or Jr. Counselors should contact the camp office promptly, as available positions fill up quickly. Counselors and Jr. Counselors are required to attend a mandatory Counselor Training weekend, held at the end of May or beginning of June. FAMILY CAMP SESSION(S): Mahaffey Family Camp takes place during the last full week of July every year; in 2018, the dates are July 20 through 29. Events and services are offered for all age groups throughout the 10 days. Special events include a 5k race, Motorcycle Rally, Missionary Rally, Women's Day, Children's Penny Parade, Baptismal Service, and Gospel Concert. The camp store and Dining Hall are open for meals every day, and the craft store (selling merchandise and handmade crafts to benefit camp) is open daily. Dorm Accommodations are available, as well as RV and tent sites. Different types of services are offered, including Adult morning and evening services, prayer and healing services, Teen morning and evening services, Children's ministries, and Fresh Breeze afternoon service.

YEAR-ROUND PROGRAMS: Youth Camps are held in the summer, while many retreats are held throughout the rest of the year. Mahaffey offers a variety of different retreats and events, including Applefest, Quilt Retreats, Scrapbook Retreats, Men's Link, Prayer Retreat, Mother / Daughter Retreat, REPLENISH (youth winter retreat), and private horsemanship lessons. CAMP PROGRAM INFO: Penn State Abington's Kids and Teen College offers fun, enriching, and educational week-long programs for students entering grades 3 through 12. CAMP FACILITIES: Summit has approx. 30 traditional wooden cabins with electric and private facilities in each cabin. Our main buildings include our newly refinished dining hall, air-conditioned recreational hall, our medical facility, and a newly built outdoor pavilion. Summit utilizes three A frame buildings for our arts programs, a wilderness treehouse with camp fire area for cookouts, newly resurfaced basketball/tennis courts, high/low ropes course with climbing wall, heated pool, private lake, nature fields with a farm area, martial arts dojo, go-kart track with 3 karts. Summit has a small amphitheatre adjacent to our lake, with a miraculous view of our beautiful setting where we enjoy swimming, canoeing, and riding our banana boats. Our camp resides on a gently rising hillside, thus providing us with the physical basis for our motto, "The Magic on the Hill."

CAMP PROGRAM INFO: Summit Camp is a co-ed sleepaway camp for ages 8-19 years with issues of attention: AD/HD, HFA/Asperger’s Disorder, and/or learning differences. Using the frame of a traditional sleepaway camp, we create platforms of success where our campers can experience outcomes such as improved self-esteem, lasting friendships, and increased independence. This is accomplished through a well-orchestrated and expertly staffed backdrop to a largely traditional camp experience- guided challenges, waterfront, adventure course, and more. It is our goal and desire to take our campers from observing peer interactions to engaging in them, to learn and celebrate their own strengths and successes, and to feel a sense of belonging and shared community with those around them while they are with us.

Our Teen Travel program extends the Summit community to provide a safe yet exciting adventure to one of our many attractive national and international destination tours offering 14 day and 19 day excursions. Summit Weekenders provide a youth-group style social retreat for adolescents to have an oasis of independence, enjoyment, and success during the school year months. CAMP FACILITIES: Ravens Run has air-conditioned classrooms, a social hall, a ceramics studio and beautiful, shady outdoor space.

CAMP PROGRAM INFO: Ravens Run, New Hope’s Visual & Performing Arts Camp, brings together professional artists and students to explore the world of creativity in a supportive, inspiring and fun environment. At Ravens Run, children are encouraged to broaden their artistic horizons while developing technical skills. Campers learn to find their special creative spirit and no prior experience is necessary.

Campers will be exposed to a wide variety of artistic styles and media, including painting, drawing, printmaking, sculpture, ceramics, crafts, stained glass, photography, dance, yoga, music, magic, theatre, claymation and creative writing. We strive to give each child a rich art experience that fosters flexible thinking and creative problem solving skills.

Each session culminates with a spectacular camp-wide art show and performance. Ravens Run is both serious art and serious fun! Ravens Run is proud to have an outstanding staff of art teachers and professional artists who currently work in their fields.

Our experienced staff teaches and mentors students at all levels. They are committed to guiding students through a creative experience that develops their abilities and encourages their personal expression. Ravens Run counselors are bright, creative and caring college students who love working with children. Many are planning careers in the arts and/or teaching fields. CAMP LEADERSHIP CIT/LIT PROGRAMS: Ravens Run offers a Young Adult Program for high school students. Campers who are 14-16 years old will be mentored by an art teacher while engaging in a full range of art classes.

10% discount for each additional sibling Sessions 1 & 2 are independent of each other. Campers can attend either session and many attend both sessions. Each session culminates with a spectacular camp-wide art show and performance.

CAMP FACILITIES: Camp Harmony features 8 newly remodeled cabins, 5 rustic cabins, RV campground, teepees, swimming pool & waterslide, climbing & rappelling tower, high & low elements ropes course, pavilions, catch & release pond, indoor gym & multipurpose building, dining hall, meeting rooms, and retreat buildings for large and small groups of all types. Many of our facilities are available year-round.

CAMP PROGRAM INFO: Since 1924, Camp Harmony has offered programs that train Christians in the way they should go. Our mission is to invite all people to experience the wonder of creation and to grow in closer harmony with God, with nature, and with one another. We aim to do so through offering programs for all ages to participate in fun learning experiences in a variety of formats and by providing space where individuals and groups can connect in a greater way.

CAMP LEADERSHIP CIT/LIT PROGRAMS: Camp Harmony offers a Leaders-in-Training program for youth ages 16 & older who have completed at least 10th grade. Leaders-in-Training participate in activities during the week of staff training and then choose 2 weeks out of the summer to volunteer with our staff in various capacities.

CAMP SCHOLARSHIPS OR FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE: Camper Scholarships are available upon request. Please contact the Camp Harmony office for requests and details.

FAMILY CAMP SESSION(S): Our Family Campground area is open throughout the summer with special weekend programming for all ages. There is also a specific weekend set aside for families to come enjoy all that our camp has to offer.

YEAR-ROUND PROGRAMS: We are available for year-round rentals of our facilities with programs for all ages throughout the year. Check our Facebook page or website for details.
